Sharing with you a sweet layout featuring little miss, hubby and MIL.
I went all aboard with washi tapes for the first time. Loved playing with it!
Used some vellum and stamped the sentiments on it and did some doodling. The page is so colorul with washi tapes that it required minimal embellishmens :)
Do let me know how you liked it.

Fun with Washi tapes ..its so lovely Lavina ..:)
ReplyDeleteIt's looking lovely :)
ReplyDeleteHow do you store your paper crafting creations? Do you display all of them or you create an album. Paper crafting usually takes less time than needlework and therefore one can create more items. Needleworkers generally end up with less finishes.
Hi dear..sorry for the late reply. .thanks for liking the layout preeti..the above layout is part of my daughters baby book. .I have made a display area/borad in our drawing room for displaying our other crafts thst I do with my little one and also the canvases and quilling. .the baby book is shown to occasional guests..
DeleteYou are very correct about paper craft and needle craft..paper craft takes much less time as compared to needle craft with endless possibilities depending on the time at hand and mood. .ha ha..I had done some needle craft like crochet. .cross stitch. .satin stitch when I was in school. .it takes a lot of patience. .still planning to do some crochet but yet to get the trigger for it...hats of to you for your amazing creations dear..and the dedication and patience that goes with it. .:)
What a great idea.Washi tapes lend so much colour and vibrancy to your layout. You are right about not needing any more embellishments and I think that camera is the perfect touch.Lovely photo too.:-)

Great job with the washi tape! I've only recently started to acquire some washi (I'm a bit of a late starter when it comes to scrap trends) and I love seeing how people use it. Amazing how quickly you can become addicted to using it!
