Made these traditional envelops using the old wedding invitations. Decorated them with ceramic paint. Never used ceramic before..gave this a try after my cute sister guided on the basics of ceramic.
Used punched flowers and pearl color in this hand made envelop.
Wow didi ! Firstly nice bright colors of envelopes . Design is also v nice specially that 'pongu' in his hand ;)

ReplyDeleteNice envelops... considering that it is the first time, it has come out very well... Why is that red envelop folded, you could have used some other proper stuff...

ReplyDeletesure dear Sayantani...will definitely post a tutorial..when is your DH's bday?
ReplyDeleteIn the mean time, I'll just tell you..I mixed Ceramic powder and DDL (its a form of fevicol) to get a mehendi or hina like consistency(little thcker than hina, coz it might spread). Then made a plastic cone and put it in that. All ready to rock...you can make any number of designs with this cone. If you want colors, you can mix fabric or poster colors in the ceramic and DDL mix..
do let me know if you face any difficulty..all the best
Fun envies! Thanks for joining in at CJC!
