Quilled photo frame

Hi friends. .its me after a loooong time. .hope you missed me ;)
Sometimes life becomes so busy that the things we enjoy doing for ourselves take a back seat. ..hence my absence from the crafting and blogging world. .will try to be back in action!
Sharing with you today a quilled frame I made for a dear friend of mine.  Made some gorgeous Malaysian flowers on the black back ground. .
This is my first attempt at quilling on a ready made frame. .love the outcome!

Sending this to itsy bitsy challenge. .http://itsybitsyindia.blogspot.in/2013/10/the-anything-goes-with-itsybitsy.html?m=1
( I used itsy bitsy quilling strips and the kundan center for flowers)

Rakhi card

Made this card for my dear brother Karan and sister-in-law Jyoti, this rakhi. I wanted to post this after they receive it. Thankfully they did get my card and rakhi although a few days after rakhi. I am really happy that it did got delivered :)
I loved the image on this card, it is from a photo shop broacher and I wanted to use it somewhere good, what better than a card for younger bro !(that makes me the angel ;)) The flower is a quilled Malaysian flower with a fringed flower at the center, the lace is a leather texture one, gifted by my dear sis.

Do lemme know how you liked this.
